Algozey

Bring the spirit of Punjabi folk music to your collection with these traditional Algozey—two woodwind flutes played together for melody and drone. One longer flute (male) and one shorter flute (female) are designed as a matched pair, often tied or held loosely while performing, with colorful tassel detailing that may vary as each piece is handmade.

Blow into both flutes simultaneously to create rhythmic layers through each breath. Loved across Punjabi and beyond, Algozey are also known by names like Alghoza and Nagoze in different regions.
